The catering company was founded by EpicSoul MusiQ, whose real name is Similo Manxayile, a prolific House Music Producer and a talented cook who boasts a formidable love for magnificent cuisine, which was explored at varsity when he produced luscious dinners for friends, peers, and couples on their date evenings. This earned the cook professional catering collaborations with other chefs, allowing him to further explore his culinary talent while aiding in the production of cutting-edge culinary delights aimed at gratifying customers' palates.

The catering company was formally birthed when the cook returned to his hometown (JHB, Gauteng) after completing his undergraduate studies in the Eastern Cape, where he had the opportunity to delve further into a variety of tantalizing meal orchestrations.

The name 'The Most Stylish DJ's Kitchen' proved most appropriate in expressing the message behind the cutting-edge meals the catering company would give its customers, as well as the touch of elegance found in its service.
